Brian Caro is a founding principal of the firm, having practiced architecture for over 30 years. He serves as a designer and delineator of projects as well as management of the firm. His major responsibilities are marketing, architectural design and presentation.
Brian received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1973. He has been a licensed architect in the State of Virginia since 1975 and is a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Planning Association and the Virginia Society of Architects.

Robert D. Webb, AIA - Vice President

Dan Webb joined the firm in 1987 and currently serves as Vice President in charge of Project Production. He has practiced architecture for over 30 years and has had extensive experience in all facets of the profession. Dan's primary tasks include coordination of engineering functions, scheduling, code analysis, quality control and cost analysis. He also has extensive experience in design-build construction projects having been an in-house architect for a large construction company for over 10 years.
Dan attended Bluefield Junior College and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He has been a licensed architect in Virginia since 1974.

William C. Monroe, AIA - Principal

Bill Monroe is a founding principal of the firm, holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certificate and is registered to practice in seven states and the District of Columbia. His other professional qualifications include certificates in Energy Audit, Energy Audit Analysis and Energy Conservation in Architecture. Bill has been in architectural practice for over thirty years and specializes in urban planning, commercial and church design.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture with emphasis in Urban Design and Planning from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He took post graduate studies in Concrete Structures at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill is a member of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Institute fo Architects and the Virginia Society of Architects.

Pat Cropper, CDA - Business Manager

Pat Cropper joined the firm in 1981 and brings to the firm over 30 years of administrative experience and financial management capability. Pat is currently responsible for developing financial strategy, maintaining a marketing database, overseeing proposal preparation and overseeing specification development. She maintains client contact during projects for financial purposes and follow-up and has been involved with practically every project the firm has produced since 1981 providing a great deal of continuity in relationships with our clients.
Pat is a Certified Design Accountant as well as a Certified Architectural Administrator. In 1987 she was voted "Most Valuable Person of a Small Business" by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

Deborah G. Brumfield - Assistant Business Manager

Debbie Brumfield joined the firm in 1982 and brings to the firm over 25 years of adminstrative experience and financial management capability. She has over 20 years of computer experience ranging from word processing to cost estimating. Debbie is currently responsible for handling the architectural administrative work within the office, proposal preparation, and computer generated specifications. She maintains client contact during projects for administrative purposes and follow-up after projects are complete.
Debbie has served in various capacities with design administrator organizations and has been involved in practically every project CML has produced since 1982 providing a great deal of continuity in relationships with our clients.
