Team Organization
Development of effective design projects is carefully orchestrated by organizing groups of experienced designers in each required discipline who operate as a team, contributing their expertise at the opportune moment to optimize the final result.
Project Development
Constant feedback to the client is maintained during project development by a direct communications link from the project manager to the client.
Quality Control
Maintaining a comprehensive quality control program is essential to the development of successful projects and satisfied clients. Caro Monroe Liang follows a number of different protocols, which are tailored to the type of project and the client.
Discipline Review Task Force
The Team Project Manager organizes each discipline into a Review Task Force which functions in this mode at the regular team review progress meetings. The Team Manager establishes review parameters for each discipline and is responsible to monitor the process during project development.
Design Coordination
Construction documents should represent a reasonable and cost effective architectural and engineering solution for the scope of the work and construction budget and constraints set by the client. Caro Monroe and Liang performs a quality assurance review for technical accuracy and discipline coordination.
Quality Control Checklist
No project is released for construction before the appropriate quality control checklist is performed and verified by the Project Manager.
Final Review - Peer Review
At project document completion, a final check is performed by a peer group selected by the Project Manager. This peer group is made up of architects from the firm who have not actively participated in the day to day activities of the project.

Contract Administration
A successful project is finally measured by field performance. CML has developed a time tested approach to ensuring high level results for all our clients by methodically covering each element of the field process in its construction evaluation and constructability reviews.
Constructability Reviews
Each project element is looked at to determine its ease of construction, and its construction efficiency. Elements not found efficiently specified or detailed are modified to conform with good practice. This process ensures that our clients receive the most value for their construction dollar.
Bidding
CML oversees bidding its projects as an extension of the design process, ensuring that contractors understand the design concepts as well as the detailing issues. By keeping addenda up to date and issuing information in a timely manner, contractors are able to offer our clients good pricing by taking the time needed for thorough subcontractor pricing.
Construction Administration
CML takes a global view of the process of observing construction and administering the construction contract. By looking at the overall aspects of the process, we are able to organize the entire process to benefit our client by keeping the client informed of the project timeframe and project budget.
